Women in Motorsport day

Here's your chance to give motorsport a go! 

The Queenstown Car Club are hosting a Women's day on Saturday April 18th at the Kawarau-Gibbston autocross venue.

Details: 

- April 18th, 2026

- FREE ENTRY

- No helmet or overalls required. Please wear enclosed shoes.

- Open to all women/girls (12 years and older)

- Use your own car (the venue is gentle - people often use their daily driven cars) 

- If you don't have your own car, send us a message (we have a club car and a few members who are willing to share their cars)

This is a low-key and low-pressure way to get started in motorsport and will give you a chance to drive your own car around the grass, with instruction from experienced competitors from the Queenstown Car Club. 

Open to all women. It doesn't matter your age or background - as long as you are 12 years or older.

If you get hooked, you can sign up for the Autocross the next day and put your skills to the test!
